Archery Sights - E-Z-V Sight

#1:  Scope
#2:  Windage Adjustment Screw
#3:  Vertical Adjustment Bolts
#4:  Rotational Bracket
Once you are properly sighted-in, you will now be able to shoot from any random distance without a range finder and without pins!  Simply frame the inner walls of the V until they touch the outer walls of the vital zone, paper target, or balloon and shoot an arrow in the middle in milliseconds!

Important! Remember that the V-Insert pre-installed in your E-Z-V Sight may need to be swapped with either the faster or slower V-Insert included in your Order.

Important!  Use the included vital zone paper target to sight-in.  Doing so will ensure accurate vital zone shot placement at random distances without pre-ranging.

Step One:

Start at 5-yards. Raise the “V” until the first top pair of Tick-Marks (20-yards) cover the dots on each side of the vital zone paper target and fire an arrow.  Make slight gang adjustments to move impact point.  If your arrow hits high, move the rotational bracket high. If your arrow hits low, move the rotational bracket low.  If your arrow hits right, move the scope right.  If your arrow hits left, move the scope left.  *Note Squaring up the scope to your eye may be required with each adjustment.

Make slight gang adjustments to move impact point.  If your arrow hits high, move high. If your arrow hits low, move low*Note Squaring up the scope to your eye may be required with each adjustment.

To High?

Did your arrow impact to high?

     a.  Slightly loosen both vertical adjustment bolts (#3) and slightly move the rotational bracket (#4)   higher.

     b. Re-tighten the vertical adjustment bolts (#3).

To Low?

Did your arrow impact to low?

     a.  Slightly loosen both vertical adjustment bolts (#3) and slightly move the rotational bracket (#4) lower.

     b. Re-tighten the vertical adjustment bolts (#3).

To Right?

Did your arrow impact too much right?

     a. Hold your bow upright with the bow string against your chest.

     b. Secure the scope (#1) in one hand and slightly loosen the windage adjustment screw (#2) with the

     allen wrench.

     c. Slide the scope (#1) slightly to the right.

     d. Re-tighten the windage adjustment screw (#2).

To Left?

Did your arrow impact too much left?

     a. Hold your bow upright with the bow string against your chest.

     b. Secure the scope (#1) in one hand and slightly loosen the windage adjustment screw (#2) with the

     allen wrench.

     c. Slide the scope (#1) slightly to the left.

     d. Re-tighten the windage adjustment screw (#2).

Step Two:

Move back to 10-yards and repeat step-1 still using the first top pair of Tick-Marks (20-yards) until your arrows are shooting consistently.

Step Three:

Move back to 20-yards and repeat step-1 still using the first top pair of Tick-Marks (20-yards) and make fine tune gang adjustments at 20-yards until your arrows are shooting consistently.

Step Four:

Move back to 30-yards and repeat step-1 using the second top pair of Tick-Marks (30-yards) until your arrows are shooting consistently.  *Note your 20-yard calibration will get better – not worse.

Step Five:

To ensure you have the correct size V-Insert to match your bow’s FPS, move forward to 20-yards and shoot several more arrows.   If your arrows are now hitting high after making your 30-yard gang adjustments, you should swap the V-Insert with the slower FPS V-Insert (-5 FPS).  If your arrows are now hitting low, you should swap the V-Insert with the faster FPS V-Insert (+5 FPS).  *Note the V-Inserts are tightly fit – push in from the backside towards the bow.

Step Six:

Repeat step-1 to fine tune your calibration for all Tick-Mark distances from 20-yards up to 70-yards.

Step Seven:

Once you have properly completed calibrating all distances, you are now ready to practice shooting at random distances using only the V-configuration without using the Tick-Marks.  Using the vital zone paper target included with your E-Z-V Sight package will teach you how to align the V-configuration to your target.  Simply raise the V-configuration until the V-configuration covers the dots on the paper vital zone target, and shoot in the middle!  If using a 3-D target, simply frame the vital zone and shoot in the middle!

You’re all set!  After practicing with this reVolutionary method of aiming, you find you have high impacts at some distances and low impacts at other distances, you may need a different size FPS V-insert altogether.  We will exchange your V-inserts at no charge.
